Women’s Labyrinth Walk/Hike Craft Day Oct. 18, 2020

A Women’s Labyrinth Walk and Craft Day will be hosted Oct. 18 at 80 Division Road West Greenwich, RI by Women’s Wilterness Weekend of Rhode Island.

Women’s Wilderness Weekend of Rhode Island’s, October women’s retreat is being replaced with a Women’s Labyrinth Walk/Hike and Craft Day at the labryinth a short walk inside the Big River Management Area off Division Road in West Greenwich Oct. 18.

Please join us for a day of socially distant fun. (This event is open to ladies 18-years-old and over only.)

This would have been the Saturday of our cancelled weekend retreat, so we’re bringing some of our usual women’s retreat energy and fun to a day-long event.

The Women’s Labyrinth Walk/Hike and Craft Day is free, but we ask for $5 for the craft to cover supplies. The events are spaced out so you can participate in all or some of them:

9 a.m. – Labyrinth walk
10:30 a.m. – Leisurely hike
11:30 a.m. – Lunch
12:30 p.m. – Craft
2 p.m. – Hike

Be prepared for the Labyrinth Walk and Craft Day

Bring a chair and be sure to bring your lunch, snacks, and plenty of water. Due to Covid-19 concerns, participants must bring their own food and drinks. As with all our events, this is a drug and alcohol free event.
We’ll be outside all day, so be sure to wear proper clothing and footwear. Fluorescent orange must be worn. We’ll have some vests to borrow and some hats to purchase.
There are no bathrooms, but there are a couple fast food restaurants one mile away if you need facilities.

Getting to the event

Put the event address into your GPS or use these directions:
Take Exit 6A off Route 95
– From the South, take a right off the exit
– From the North, take a left off the exit
At the four-way stop, make a left
Our event is 1/2 mile down on the right. You’ll see a small parking area and also street parking.
It is diagonally across from R.I. Aeromodelers.
